What would you say is the overall style of Chameleon?
Q. What's the overall style of Chameleon?
A. Our online accessories boutique is...[a] metaphor [for] lizard (a chameleon) that [changes] colors. [We] provide...women [with] fashion accessories that are bold, stylish and unique at affordable prices.
Q. When you're picking items for your shop, who do you envision wearing them?
A. We envision a Chameleon shopper, one who knows how to create their own fashion style, the fashionista who loves to blend, mix and match – whether bold and funky items, colors, and/or even a luxury shopper who mixes high end with low cost accessories to her look.
Q. Why did you name your shop Chameleon?
A. With the belief that fashion accessories can...transform...women's wardrobes, Chameleon was created. I think it’s amazing how fashion accessories can [make] a plain white dress, for example, look right on trend for the current season by integrating handbags, shoes and jewelry that are on trend. This is also why we cater to lower cost items. Trends change so rapidly and [there is] no reason to spend a load on fashion items that will be gone with the wind tomorrow.
Q. What do you think the are the big Spring and Summer trends? And what are your favorite new (or returning) trends?
A. ...[B]right colors [will] be extremely hot this season – like the neon yellows and pinks. Mint colored fashion accessories have been a great hit that I feel continued from the Fall season. I personally love funky items, so I really enjoy the “heelless shoe” trend and love the chunky platform wedges.
Q. What are some of your favorite pieces in your shop right now?
A. I love almost everything! But since I’m so gravitated to color, many of the bright and bold items are my favorites. Currently I’m in love with Royal Blue Wedges by Sergio Zelcer. I think they are totally fabulous and such a great addition to add pop of color of blues and red – which is also a kind of safe color, making them versatile and season proof in my opinion.
