Spring has sprung!  Finally!  And then immediately the spring rains started...as soon as the Scot took out the camera to take these shots.  So, I guess it was appropriate that I was wearing my new rainbow colored necklace from Uncommon Goods.  Uncommon goods is definitely worth a look.  They're a great company that makes great products.  Uncommon Goods brings you tons of great jewelry and other assorted household items, right from their little warehouse in Brooklyn New York.  Ok, I am sure it's not a little warehouse judging by how vast their collection of goodies is.  A good portion of their jewelry is made of recycled and upcycled materials and an even greater portion is made right here in the United States, creating a platform for local artists to share their work with the world.  My necklace isn't recycled or upcycled, but it's still pretty cool.  It's made from Tagua, more commonly known as vegetable ivory.  It's made from crushed seeds and mimics the look and feel of ivory, thereby curbing the illegal ivory trade.  A portion of each sale goes to support a non-profit, that you get to choose at checkout!  Uncommon Goods has a ton of great items....even some great Mother's Day gifts for you procrastinators. (find some here and here).

Full Disclosure: This necklace was provided to me free of charge for review purposes.  I did not receive any thing else in return for this post and all opinions are 100% mine.
