Birthday Wishlist

I'll be honest, this post is not for my reader(s).**  This post is for my husband.  Since starting this blog, I have not gotten a bad gift from him.  I may not have made a full-time job out of my blog; but at least I have not had to fake like a gift in years.

**I am assuming that due to my periodic absences there are like 3 people left reading this.  Thanks to those of you that are still here.  Also, it took my 4 times to spell "absences" correctly.   I am really losing my touch.

Favorite Fashion Friday: Spring Wishlist

I know I have slacked on the on the FFF link ups!  I am finally back into the swing of things with the blog.  Instead of the normal favorite outfit of the week (since I can't even remember when the last link up was), I am bringing you some items I am craving now that the weather has finally turned warm.

• Spring just has me craving floral dresses, especially this one from J. Crew, which is now an extra 30% off.
• I've also been eyeing Yumi Kim Rompers.  I hope that this one will be the romper that finally looks good on me,
• This makeup bag is just too funny.
• The latest Loren Hope collection is full of pastel goodness.  My fav is this pink beauty.

Look What I Got: February Wishlist

I have a short little list of pretties I am looking at this month.  It's a very sparkly list I think.  I'm trying really hard to stay away from shopping retail and to find similar items on Poshmark or Instagram.  I've also gotten into trading stuff too!  It's like free shopping!  

I'd settle for any color of a large Sarra Cuff from Loren Hope and pretty much any print Lilly Pulitzer Murfee scarf.  If you know of any one selling on Instagram or Poshmark, let me know!

Look What I Got: End of Summer Wishlist

End of Summer 2014 Wishlist by veggielawyer 

I've got a few items that I am craving...that aren't quite completely Fall-ish (because it's that time of August when bloggers are all of a sudden supposed to be shopping for flannel and leather).  It's still warm and will be for quite some time, so these are the items that I want right now.

Aqua Striped Dress: Bloomingdale's: I think this dress is the perfect day to night dress and at $88 it's a fraction of the cost of a similar Kate Spade dress that I have been desperately seeking for months.

Lilly Pulitzer Jance Shift Dress in Resort White: I know this is a very summer-y dress.  However, I am going on a tropical vacation in September.  And I plan on being that jerk that wears nothing but white for the few days before and few days after her wedding.  We're having a stay-cation style honeymoon with the Scot's family for the entire week after the wedding.  And there's an emergency....I look really good in white.

Kendra Scott Rayne Pendent: Bloomingdale's:  Duh.  This necklace is gorgeous and apparently a fashion blogger essential.  I will definitely be kicked out of the cool kids club if I don't get one.

Lucy Paris Full Organza Midi: Bloomingdale's:  This is my compromise to the tulle skirt, which I just cannot pull off no matter how hard I try.

August Accessories Jeweled Baseball Hat: Bloomingdale's: Again, I feel like this is self-explanatory.  It's a hat with sparkles on it.  These are both things I love.
