I was a little disappointed in my Stitch Fix this month because nothing seemed to fit right. However, there was one little frock I fell in love with and the amazing customer service at Stitch Fix was able to get it for me in the correct size. Unfortunately, as a result of the ill fit of all the items in my fix....there aren't outfit photos of the things I did not keep.
Seriously, Stitch Fix....how did you know I was looking for a polka dot mini dress?! Those folks are always reading my thoughts. This is the second sleeveless floral dress I've gotten from Stitch Fix. Yes, I like them, but enough is enough! And this one was really tight in the bust.
These tops rank in the top 5 of the worst fitting things I've ever tried on. The patterned top was tight across my chest and was practically a crop top. The peplum top is adorable and I have never seen a jersey knit peplum. However, it was too tight and see through.
And then there was this....First, I already own a bubble necklace and second, I am sort of over bubble necklaces. Yeah...I'm a blogger fashion snob now.
And now onto how I styled my little dotted dream dress:
Dress: Stitch Fix | Shoes: J. Crew via Plato's Closet (worn, similar) | Bag: Kate Spade (worn, similar) | Necklace: Banana Republic (similar) |
Bracelets: Groopdealz & Sira and Mara (worn, similar & exact)
I freakin' love this little dress. I was elated to find out that Stitch Fix still had a larger size in stock. The one that came in my Fix was a tad too small, but one size up and it fit perfectly! The only down side is that the little dots create this weird optical illusion and are super hard to photograph. You have to be the exact right distance away or the dress looks like a swirly black hole.
