If I Were 17 Again and a GIVEAWAY!

As I was cruising around Kohl's on my lunch break the other day, I spotted Vera Wang's new teen line: Vera Wang Princess.  When I spotted a sweatshirt with a tutu attached, I thought, "If I were 17 I would wear the SH*T out of that!"  Sadly, I am waaaay past my teenage years and have been told tutus are not business casual attire.  When the hell is it going to be appropriate for a grown ass woman to wear a tutu?!?!

If I was 17 Again by veggielawyer featuring Vera Wang earrings

Anyhoo...on to the giveaway.  In celebration of surpassing 150 followers, I decided to have a giveaway!  You can channel your inner teenager (or just be a teenager, since I have no idea what age bracket reads my dribble here) with a pair of earrings from Princess Vera Wang.  I'm also throwing in 2 Nicole by OPI nail polishes and a L'Oreal lip gloss.  No, I have not won the lottery.  I used coupons for every single item in the giveaway.  One lucky winner will walk away with all this swag.
I will select said winner on Saturday July 21, 2012 and email her (or him...boys can enter too if they really want).  If she (or he) doesn't email me back within 48 hours, I will select a new winner.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  (Well, I guess if you fail to claim your prize because your dog died or something, I'll send you a condolence lip gloss).  Sorry, Elena, I am disqualifying you from entering.  If you want lip gloss or earrings, I will take you shopping.

Stuff I Wore: Use It or Lose It Day #5

Similar cardigan
Boots here, worn here and here
Similar tank here and here
I haven't worn this tank in forever and I think it's just a product of having to  much stuff in a poorly lit closet.  This beauty was crammed all the way in the back, lost and forgotten.  I really love the colors and the fabric is really good quality.  Kohl's really does a great job with their designer lines. (i.e. Lauren Conrad)  I've put it back to the front and plan on pairing it with some leggings soon.

As a recap, this is the fourth item of the ten.  First, I got rid of the tortuous brown shoes.  Second, I kept the comfy sweater dress.  Third, I tossed the weird bow shirt.

And then I got rid of items five, six and seven.  The gray Levi's jeans and button front pencil skirt are just waaaay too tight on me.  The Levis are a few years old and in that time I've gotten too old for low rise jeans.  Seriously, when did I think it was OK to have my butt crack hanging out!?!?  That gorgeous printed shirt is from White House Black Market.  Sadly, it gives me under arm boob and the halter strings threaten to choke me.  So, in this post, I got rid of clothes that give me extra lumps where they don't belong.
