Check out that sweet ice around my neck.  I am not one to shy away from statement necklaces, but this might be the most shiny plastic I've ever had around my neck.  I almost felt like it was too much...almost.  So, I downplayed it a little with a nice whimsical fox print and some jeans.  None of those things can draw the attention away from this bauble, however.  And I have come to terms with that.
And yes, I am aware this necklace is a cheap knock off from J. Crew.  You can hold the lecture, because I have already given it to myself.  I've gone through the stages of shopping piracy guilt.  However, I ended at acceptance because I don't think there is any amount of eBay knockoffs that can bring down the glorious empire of J. Crew.  The powers of eBay and Etsy combined can never make the No. 2 pencil skirt.

Baby got her first pair of Ray Bans this weekend.  I've had my eye on a pair of Ray Bans for over a year now.  Some Macy's gift cards from my birthday, combined with a coupon and the Scot's Macy's card led to my acquisition of my super cool sunnies.  I had to borrow the Scot's Macy's card because he gets Reward Points and an extra discount.  It wasn't a Jane Jetson wallet grabbing situation.
